Dear Friends,
Are you feeling the rising tension around the world, in our country, and even within our own church? It is clear that Satan is doubling his efforts to bring disaster and darkness upon this earth. Yet what a joy it is to know that God has chosen you and me for such a time as this to bring light and hope to the world through truth-filled literature. What a blessing it was to be that light in San Francisco.
By God’s grace, we can report that over 25,000 books, health magazines, and evangelistic series invitations were distributed, and more than 75 individuals signed up for Bible study during our nine days in San Francisco. Our team has written a report about this comprehensive evangelism effort. We are deeply grateful to Elder Ted Wilson and his wife, Nancy, as well as to the San Francisco Central SDA Church and the Central California Conference for the opportunity to take part in such a collaborative effort to reach one of our major cities for Christ. We are also grateful to those who contributed financially to this mission through our Fuel the Mission campaign.
In addition to the efforts in San Francisco, two of our team led a mini mission trip the last weekend in September in Nanaimo, a city on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. We were so blessed to have students from Fountainview Academy join us for three days of outreach, resulting in the distribution of over 6,000 books and more than 15 individuals signing up for Bible studies.
As we move forward, we have several mission endeavors in the next few weeks and months, including the Flint mission trip this month, our last North America-wide outreach of 2024 on November 16th, and the Columbus outreach in partnership with GYC in late December.
Friends, we are working diligently on the launch of Streams of Light Training Institute, our mission school project. At this time, we are working to secure a campus for the mission school and a potential lifestyle center. We need your special support in prayer for this effort.
I invite all of you to join us for our Thursday morning prayer calls, where we seek the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Our vision can only be accomplished if we receive the promised Spirit. Let’s unite in this, examine our hearts, and rededicate ourselves to His cause. When we do, the promise will be fulfilled. This is our only hope and the only way to reach the end.
