Training your church is critical to finishing the work

“The work of God in this earth can never be finished until the men and women comprising our church membership rally to the work and unite their efforts with those of ministers and church officers.” (Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 116).
“Many would be willing to work if they were taught how to begin. They need to be instructed and encouraged. Every church should be a training school for Christian workers. Its members should be taught how to give Bible readings, how to conduct and teach Sabbath school classes, how best to help the poor and to care for the sick, how to work for the unconverted.”(The Ministry of Healing, pp. 148, 149).

What we offer

SOLI offers in-person and online training for churches interested in distributing The Great Controversy in their community. We provide the tools, resources, training, and experience in order for your church to thrive in this outreach initiative.

What you will receive

  • We will assist in organizing your first outreach event, ensuring that you comprehend each step of the process.A SOLI training session, either via Zoom or in-person, to instruct your church on how to effectively distribute The Great Controversy.

  • Print-ready outreach maps to facilitate easy territory tracking and ensure your success.

  • Basic and advanced training resources for your church members to review.

Get an inside look at how a Streams of Light church training impacts the community and local church.

In Person Training Program Outline

  • The SOLI trainer will come on a Sabbath.
  • The SOLI trainer will deliver the sermon.
  • After lunch, the trainer will train the congregation
  • The trainer will manage on-site logistics, including team distribution and inventory.
  • The church will engage in a 3-hour outreach.
  • The day will conclude with a testimonial and praise session.

General Program Outline

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Divine Service
12:45 PM – 1:45 PM: Lunch
1:45 PM – 2:45 PM: Training and team distribution
3:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Outreach
6:00 PM – 6:45 PM: Testimony time!
