Vice President - Finance
Job Description
The Vice President for Finance serves as a key leadership team member and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting Streams of Light International, Inc. The VP for Finance is responsible for the financial operations and financial planning for Streams of Light International. Her/his primary duties include creating a system for and overseeing the finances of the ministry, preparing financial reports, and finding solutions to financial issues. The Vice President for Finance provides financial recommendations to ensure that Streams of Light meets all of its financial goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in planning of ministry’s objectives
- Develop a financial strategy for the ministry in collaboration with the administrative team
- Implement and maintain a structure for a simple, functional system for dealing with all financial activity related to Streams of Light
- Work to minimize costs and lower expenses for the ministry
- Develop and make recommendations regarding a standardized remuneration package for employees in collaboration with HR
- Interpret complex financial data and providing updates on a bi-weekly basis
- Contract financial auditing services to make sure that all financial records are updated
- Take the responsibility to ensure that the financial statements accurately portray the organization’s financial condition
- Ensure that the ministry’s financial practices adhere to the statutory regulations and legislation
- Supervise employees’ day-to-day financial operations such as invoicing and payroll
- Perform research to seek methods that can help minimize financial risk
- Maintain good relationships with conferences, church members, and other significant third parties
- Other duties as assigned

Development Director
Job Description
The Development Director serves as a key leadership team member and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting Streams of Light International, Inc. This position is responsible for all fundraising and development activities. The Development Director forges new relationships to build the donor base, as well as its impact, and financial resources. She/he work closely with other team members as needed to secure funding for initiatives. In addition, the Development Director will partner with the board of directors. It is expected that the amount raised by Streams of Light will increase in future years as the Development Director systematically and effectively strengthens the organization’s overall fundraising capacity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively work with the President and VP for Operations to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy and annual strategic plan for development
- Participate in planning of ministry’s objectives
- Initiate development and execution of all fund-raising campaigns, using creative strategies, in collaboration with the president and board members.
- Develop and cultivate deeper ties with donors, keeping them updated on how funds are being used for current and new projects
- Oversee the development of strong donor relations by timely acknowledgement of gifts
- Monitor all donor information
- Report regularly on the progress of the development program and present statistical analyses to board and senior leaders
- Train and mentor the development team
- Collaborate with the marketing department concerning advertising for social media and events
- Design and review the development department’s budget
- Other duties as assigned.

Marketing Director
Job Description
This position ensures that the Marketing Department’s activities contribute to the ministry’s long-term success. We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Director to help us in the overall management of our marketing department. You will be an integral part of the growth of SOLI’s awareness, marketing strategy, lead generation, and content creation.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Marketing Director develops highly effective marketing campaigns, targeting the ideal audience, has a knowledge of basic marketing strategies, digital marketing, analysis, and campaign execution, and staff management. The goal is to ensure that the entire marketing team is carrying out their function to effectively market any projects, products, events, or campaigns by SOLI.
- Lead and oversee the ministry’s marketing efforts
- Further the mission of SOLI by creating awareness of and promoting a positive image of the ministry
- Develop and implement an effective, long-term marketing strategy
- Oversee the ministry’s digital marketing program, including social media, internal website, and email campaigns, to ensure brand consistency
- Manage and supervise marketing team and department, including projects with agency providers, freelancers, consultants, and other suppliers
- Perform market research and analyze target audience to prepare effective marketing campaigns
- Test marketing strategies and campaigns to understand challenges and opportunities for growth
- Draft, implement, and oversee the marketing department’s budget
- Maximize website and social media performance, track keyword rankings, and implement SEO strategies
- Set and achieve strategic goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to social media metrics, advertising, and marketing campaign initiatives
- Advise the social media manager(s) and assist in developing innovative advertising for social media and events
- Work with other departments to develop and execute successful marketing strategies
- Design and review the marketing department’s budget

Logistics Director
Job Description
The Logistics Director serves as a key leadership team member and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting Streams of Light International, Inc. From the headquarters in Wartburg, Tennessee, he/she is responsible for overseeing the operation of the logistics department at all locations, as well as setting their policies, strategies, and goals. He/she must also solve efficiency issues relating to transportation, contractors, and routes in order to maximize efficiency and economy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee purchasing, transporting, warehousing, and shipping of materials and products
- Work with shippers and printing companies regarding shipping details
- Ensure that all steps in supply chain meet regulations, quality, and timeliness goals
- Record data and strategize to meet delivery goals, reduce costs, and forecast needs
- Develop the warehousing system for all locations
- Develop price structures and price lists for all inventory
- Maintain the inventory system (Zoho) that tracks all inventory, sales, purchase and sales orders and all communications and supervise employees and volunteers who oversee Zoho platform, giving roles and access, adjusting as needed
- Oversee the management of the system for shipping all books, magazines and other items
- Oversee the ministry’s bridge to online selling platforms
- Build relationships with vendors, shippers, and churches
- Train call center employees on how to communicate with others who work with inventory and other resources
- Work with Accounting on payments and invoices for logistics-related expenses
- Serve as a member of the Property Management Committee
- Oversee the development of the warehouse property in Wartburg
- Ensure that the storage unit facility is running optimally and has tenants
- Ensuring that proper procedures are followed in accordance with the law
