Ready to Reach North America?

Join us this upcoming year as the churches of multiple conferences throughout the North America Division are engaging in hand-delivering The Great Controversy within their communities simultaneously! We are inviting every conference in the NAD to participate, as well as every church within each conference. Just imagine the incredible impact we can make when we unite and share the everlasting gospel across the US simultaneously!

Churches all across the division will be conducting outreach on these three dates: April 20, August 24, and November 16.

Will you join us in this endeavor? Which date works best for your church? Will your church get involved? Please view the proposal for more information.

“The Great Controversy should be very widely circulated….I am more anxious to see a wide circulation for this book than for any others I have written; for in The Great Controversy, the last message of warning to the world is given more distinctly than in any of my other books.” – Letter 281, 1905

Our Literature

Our Literature

Health Magazine (English/Spanish)

In the writings of Ellen G. White, we are told that medical missionary work is an effective way of reaching hearts and preparing them for accepting the gospel. Our health magazine is designed to be a companion to The Great Controversy; providing an entering wedge for you to share the health message along with the three angels’ messages. The premier issue, themed “Coping in the Midst of Crisis,” explains how the pandemic has affected mental health across North America and how to cope with it using God-given natural remedies.

 The Great Controversy (English/Spanish)

In light of current events and all that is going on in the world we have developed a new cover that draws the minds of people from the conflict to the future peace. With embedded QR codes, this full edition of The Great Controversy makes it easy for you to read, watch, or listen to the content within each chapter. This combination of the physical book with digital content makes this version more appealing and engaging to a wider audience.

What is the cost for each packet?

As outlined in the proposal, each packet consists of one Great Controversy book, Thrive mental health magazine, and a doorknob bag. Normally, the cost per packet is $2.20. However, through our partnership with the conference, you have the exclusive opportunity to purchase them at just $1.25 per packet, with no minimum or maximum order amount required!

How do I determine how many books my church should order?

We encourage churches to envision a more comprehensive outreach strategy to reach every home in their community rathan than just a one-day event. Determining the appropriate quantity of books involves thoughtful consideration of various factors:

– The size of the church’s territory.

– The congregation’s size and participation levels.

– Duration of each distribution event.

– Overall outreach goals.

Considering these factors allows for a more strategic approach to outreach planning. For instance, each church member can distribute approximately 20 books per hour when working alone, or 20 books per pair per hour when members go out two by two.

To calculate the total number of books for the initial outreach day, we use a simple formula:

Number of church members x books distributed per hour.

– 100 people x 20 books (1hr) = 2,000 books

– 100 people x 40 books (2hr) = 4,000 books

– 100 people x 60 books (3hr) = 6,000 books

Given that not all church members may participate, a more conservative estimate of 20-40% participation is prudent. Using this estimate, for a group of 30 participants:

– 30 people x 20 books (1hr) = 600 books

– 30 people x 40 books (2hr) = 1,200 books

– 30 people x 60 books (3hr) = 1,800 books

By observing the potential number of books distributed in just one day, it becomes clear that a strategic approach is essential. This sets the stage for a discussion on what would be realistic for the church to order for an ongoing outreach initiative, aiming to place a book in every home within their territory.

Some churches order the entire quantity of books needed for their territory up front, while others start with a pallet (2,700 books). This initial investment not only secures a bulk discount on shipping but also ensures that church members have ample time in the field to gather valuable experiences and interests. Whether it takes multiple outreach efforts or can be accomplished in the first attempt, ordering accordingly—erring on the side of more rather than less—is always recommended.

By adopting this strategic approach, churches can maximize their outreach impact and effectively share the message with every household in their territory. Now more than ever, we encourage you to reach every home in your community, and take advantage while the discount is available.

What happens after I fill out the order form?

After completing the order form, our call center will reach out to confirm details and provide a shipping quote. You should receive a response from us within 24-72 hours of submitting the order form. If you do not hear from us within that timeframe, please feel free to contact our call center at 888-765-7654.

What is the price for shipping?
Shipping costs for your order will vary based on the quantity and distance. We are dedicated to finding the most efficient and affordable shipping options for you.
What is the deadline to order?

For this significant outreach effort, conferences and churches predominantly have three different dates to choose from for participation:

  1. April 20th, 2024
  2. August 24th, 2024
  3. November 16th, 2024

To ensure sufficient time for churches to receive and prepare materials before the outreach date(s), we recommend that churches purchase their inventory no later than one month prior to the outreach date. This timeline promotes smooth logistics and allows for ample preparation time.

What if I don't see maps for my church?

If your church is not listed, don’t worry! Simply email with your church name, conference, and your contact information. We understand the importance of getting outreach maps to every participating church, and we will go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. Rest assured, we will do our absolute best to ensure that you receive the necessary resources for your church’s outreach.

Are the materials packed already?
As mentioned in the proposal, each packet includes one Great Controversy book, Thrive mental health magazine, and a doorknob bag. These items are not pre-packed together, so it will be up to each church to coordinate packing times with their members.

We strongly encourage each church to include an evangelistic flyer in every packet. This flyer will inform the community about the visit and invite them to local church programs and initiatives. It’s a simple yet effective way to engage with the community and extend a warm invitation.

Please refer to the Misc. section in the training resources above to access a sample flyer that can serve as inspiration.

Will anyone be available to come train us in person?

We have SOLI trainers available to train churches. If you would like us to come, you can email

Due to the significant number of churches participating in this event, we are unable to be present in person at every chruch. However, we have prepared comprehensive training content for you to review and share with your church. This will ensure that everyone is fully equipped to successfully undertake the project. We value your commitment and dedication, and we are confident that with the training materials provided, your church will be well-prepared to make a significant impact.

Why does the proposal indicate to assign a church representative?
To ensure a seamless shipping and receiving process for your church, we kindly request that you provide us with a designated contact person. This individual will serve as the point of contact for any changes, unforeseen circumstances, or general confirmation of details regarding your order. Additionally, this contact person will receive important communication leading up to the event, ensuring that they are kept informed and up-to-date. Having a dedicated point of contact will greatly contribute to effective coordination and communication between our teams and your church.
Can our church still participate if we're unable to do it on one of the suggested dates?

We encourage every church to take part in the outreach date set by their conference (if the conference is participating) or choose from the proposed dates in the proposal. If none of these options fits your church calendar, no need to worry—you can select an alternative date and still participate. Just place your order by completing the form on this webpage.
