Ready to Reach North America?
Join us this upcoming year as the churches of multiple conferences throughout the North America Division are engaging in hand-delivering The Great Controversy within their communities simultaneously! We are inviting every conference in the NAD to participate, as well as every church within each conference. Just imagine the incredible impact we can make when we unite and share the everlasting gospel across the US simultaneously!
Churches all across the division will be conducting outreach on these three dates: April 20, August 28, and November 16.

Thrive Magazine (English/Spanish)
In the writings of Ellen G. White, we are told that medical missionary work is an effective way of reaching hearts and preparing them for accepting the gospel. Thrive magazine is designed to be a companion to The Great Controversy; providing an entering wedge for you to share the health message along with the three angels’ messages. The premier issue, themed “Coping in the Midst of Crisis,” explains how the pandemic has affected mental health across North America and how to cope with it using God-given natural remedies.
The Great Controversy (English/Spanish)
In light of current events and all that is going on in the world we have developed a new cover that draws the minds of people from the conflict to the future peace. With embedded QR codes, this full edition of The Great Controversy makes it easy for you to read, watch, or listen to the content within each chapter. This combination of the physical book with digital content makes this version more appealing and engaging to a wider audience.

What is the cost for each packet?
As outlined in the proposal, each packet consists of one Great Controversy book, Thrive mental health magazine, and a doorknob bag. Normally, the cost per packet is $2.20. However, through our partnership with the conference, you have the exclusive opportunity to purchase them at just $1.25 per packet, with no minimum or maximum order amount required!
How do I determine how many books my church should order?
Determining the appropriate quantity of books for a church involves considering the following factors:
– The size of the church’s congregation.
– The planned duration for each distribution event.
– The church’s goal.
If working alone, each church member should distribute roughly 20 books in one hour. If in pairs at the door, they should distribute 20 per pair per hour.
To calculate the total number of books for the first outreach day, the formula is:
Amount of church members x amount of books per hour
For example:
100 people x 20 books (1hr) = 2,000 books
100 people x 40 books (2hr) = 4,000 books
100 people x 60 books (3hr) = 6,000 books
Considering that the entire church might not participate, a more realistic estimate of 20-40% of the church should be used. For instance, based on 30 people participating:
30 people x 20 books (1hr) = 600 books
30 people x 40 books (2hr) = 1,200 books
30 people x 60 books (3hr) = 1,800 books
When the board observes the potential number of books that can be distributed in just one day, it provides a platform to discuss what would be realistic for the church to order for an ongoing outreach initiative.
Usually, churches do well if they order by the pallet (2,700 books). This gives the best deal for shipping and enough books to ensure the church members get enough time in the field and to gather great experiences and interests. For some churches, this amount is a goal that would take a few outreaches to accomplish, and for others, they can distribute this amount in the first outreach! So, order accordingly, and we always recommend it’s better to err on the side of more than less.
What happens after I fill out the order form?
After completing the order form, our call center will reach out to confirm details and provide a shipping quote. You should receive a response from us within 24-72 hours of submitting the order form. If you do not hear from us within that timeframe, please feel free to contact our call center at 888-765-7654.

For this significant outreach effort, conferences and churches predominantly have three different dates to choose from for participation:
- April 20th, 2024
- August 24th, 2024
- November 16th, 2024
To ensure sufficient time for churches to receive and prepare materials before the outreach date(s), we recommend that churches purchase their inventory no later than one month prior to the outreach date. This timeline promotes smooth logistics and allows for ample preparation time.
What if I don't see maps for my church?
If your church is not listed, don’t worry! Simply email training@streamsoflight.net with your church name, conference, and your contact information. We understand the importance of getting outreach maps to every participating church, and we will go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. Rest assured, we will do our absolute best to ensure that you receive the necessary resources for your church’s outreach.
Are the materials packed already?
We strongly encourage each church to include an evangelistic flyer in every packet. This flyer will inform the community about the visit and invite them to local church programs and initiatives. It’s a simple yet effective way to engage with the community and extend a warm invitation.

Will anyone be available to come train us in person?
We have SOLI trainers available to train churches. If you would like us to come, you can email training@streamsoflight.net.
Due to the significant number of churches participating in this event, we are unable to be present in person at every chruch. However, we have prepared comprehensive training content for you to review and share with your church. This will ensure that everyone is fully equipped to successfully undertake the project. We value your commitment and dedication, and we are confident that with the training materials provided, your church will be well-prepared to make a significant impact.
Why does the proposal indicate to assign a church representative?
Can our church still participate if we're unable to do it on one of the suggested dates?
We encourage every church to take part in the outreach date set by their conference (if the conference is participating) or choose from the proposed dates in the proposal. If none of these options fits your church calendar, no need to worry—you can select an alternative date and still participate. Just place your order by completing the form on this webpage.
