Dear Friends,
My heart is full of gratitude for what God has just accomplished on behalf of Streams of Light International (SOLI). By the Lord’s extraordinary providence, the purchase of the Oak Haven campus was finalized on November 25th. This property will serve as the home for the Streams of Light Training Institute (SOLTI), and we are now busily preparing for the arrival of our first students in March 2025.
The story of how this campus became ours is nothing short of miraculous. Through a remarkable act of generosity, $5.5 million has been made available as a loan for the acquisition of this property. Had these funds been made available just one day later, we might not have been able to secure the full Oak Haven property. Here is where the miracle deepens: If we can match these funds, the loan will become a gift. We are so grateful to the individual who allowed the Lord to use them in meeting this need. We are also grateful to you, friends, for your support—and your prayerful consideration of helping us meet this new goal of raising $5.5 million. Friends, together we can ensure that this incredible provision becomes a gift, solidifying the foundation for a training institute dedicated to preparing laborers for the harvest. These funds will also help us move forward on the plans to further reach the five largest cities in the United States with the three angels’ messages through comprehensive evangelism efforts.
For those who would like to learn more about the training institute, a new arm of SOLI’s ministry, I have two invitations to share with you. We are planning a special Dedication Weekend from March 7-9, 2025, and I want to personally invite you to join us. This weekend is a dedication of the campus, our students, and our staff. In addition to a dedication ceremony, we will also host a prayer vigil and an outreach opportunity. It will be a weekend of consecration, prayer, and recommitment to our shared purpose of preparing the world for Christ’s soon return. If you would like to participate in this Dedication Weekend and become familiar with this new and vital branch of our ministry, please save the date and consider joining us for this meaningful event. More information will be available soon on our website.
In preparation for welcoming students to Oak Haven, we are organizing a Renovation Mission Trip to the campus from January 10-19, 2025. This mission trip will be an opportunity to not only work on much-needed renovations but also to come together as a spiritual family. It will be a time of prayer, study, and fellowship, and an opportunity to contribute to the effort of preparing an army of young people who will help finish the work. Participants will have the chance to learn more about our plans for missions to the cities, equipping themselves with ideas and inspiration to take back to their own communities. More information is available on our website.
This is a pivotal time in SOLI’s mission. With your continued prayers and support, we are stepping into another year of intense activity as we labor toward placing one book in every home in North America by 2026. Your faithfulness has already enabled us to train countless individuals and initiate outreach opportunities in cities across the continent.
Let me share just a few of the upcoming developments for 2025:
Pentecost 2025: Our Evangelism Department is gearing up to be able to provide our outreach toolkit to churches participating in the Pentecost 2025 initiative of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. As your church plans for the coming year, we invite you to enlist the support of our team for your outreach efforts and to help mobilize members for action.
New Subscription Service: Our Logistics Department is working diligently to ensure that book prices remain affordable in 2025, allowing even more literature to be distributed in the coming year. More information about a new subscription option for individuals and churches will be shared in the coming weeks.
In addition to offering these new developments from our team, I also want to share a recent story that is a fresh reminder of how lives are transformed through this mission. A businessman recently contacted me after seeing my videos of book distribution, saying he felt impressed by the Lord to do the same. He asked if I could take him and his friend door-to-door to learn the process. On a rainy Sabbath, we went out, despite the weather, trusting God to either stop the rain or bless us regardless of the weather. Friends, the rain stopped soon after we ventured out.
At the first door, we met Eric, a tall, athletic man in his 40s who seemed strong and confident. When I introduced him to the health magazine, he revealed that he has been seeing a psychiatrist and thought the material would be helpful. He then shared that he had recently been diagnosed with cancer. We prayed for Eric, and he was visibly moved. He accepted the magazine and later, as we were leaving, approached us again. I gave him a set of Amazing Facts Bible studies, telling him I kept them for special encounters like this. Eric gladly received them.
The businessman was deeply impacted by the experience, particularly the divine appointments we encountered. He later shared that this outreach gave his Adventist life renewed meaning and that he wants to continue door-to-door work every Sabbath. This testimony, this experience, is a powerful reminder to me of the impact of this movement.
Friends, we are deeply grateful for the role you’ve played in making these efforts possible. Through your prayers, financial support, and participation in our mission trips, you’ve helped create outreach opportunities, provide essential training, and share the three angels’ messages with countless souls in 2024. Thank you for being part of this work.
As we look to 2025, I ask for your continued support and active engagement in this end-time work. The urgency of our mission grows stronger every day as we witness signs of Christ’s soon return. Whether you can join us for next year’s mission trips, join us on our new campus in March, or continue supporting us from afar, your contribution to this mission is deeply valued.
Precious hours remain to bring the everlasting gospel to every home. We pray God’s continued leading, both for this ministry and for each of you, my friends. May He abundantly bless you for your faithfulness. I look forward to seeing many of you at these events and partnering with you in the year ahead to finish the work.
In His service,
Oleg Lotca
