From January 10-19, 2025, we’re hosting a mission trip at Oak Haven in Pullman, Michigan. This is your opportunity to contribute your time and skills to prepare the way for the training of missionaries in comprehensive evangelism that will help reach North America and beyond. Take part in a renovation project that will boost your spiritual life!
Free Accommodations
During the mission trip at Oak Haven, volunteers will enjoy free accommodations in a peaceful, rural setting. Lodging will be provided on-site, ensuring you have a restful place to sleep after each day’s work. Please see the packing list below for details on what to bring! A Mission Trip for Families

What To Bring
- Water bottle
- Work tools, labeled with your name (we welcome each to bring tools you anticipate needing to supplement what we will provide)
- Personal Protective Equipment*
- Flashlight
- Bible
- Heavy-duty shoes
- Modest, comfortable, and weather appropriate clothing for working and for cold weather (snow boots, snow coat, hat, and gloves recommended)
- Sleeping bag and pillow or other bedding
- Air mattress or sleeping mat (recommended for families)
- Towel
- Personal hygiene items (toothpaste, soap, etc.)
- Other personal essentials
*Personal Protective Equipment will be provided as much as possible, but we encourage all to bring what they own in the way of work gloves, protective eyewear, and ear plugs, etc.

What is the objective of this mission trip?
To renovate buildings at Oak Haven in preparation for the launch of Streams of Light Training Institute.
What is the cost for registration?
FREE. Costs for meals and housing are covered by Streams of Light International.
What about accommodations?
Volunteers will be hosted at Oak Haven and will have rooms to stay in on the campus. Families are encouraged to bring an air mattress in order to ensure there are beds for all. Please see the packing list above for more details!
What will the schedule be like?
Following time for prayer and a hearty breakfast, the days will be focused on renovation projects. Evenings will include special spiritual emphasis and fellowship. More info coming soon.

How will meals work?
Three plant-based/vegan meals per day (Sabbath, Jan. 11 to Sabbath, Jan. 18) for mission trip participants during their stay will be provided. Registration on Friday will include a light supper, and the following Sunday will conclude with breakfast before departure.
How will I get to Oak Haven?
Participants will cover their travel expenses to and from Oak Haven. For those flying, we recommend flying into Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport (AZO), which is approximately 46 miles from Oak Haven. Additionally, the Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) is located 64 miles from Oak Haven.
Please note that due to limited staff, shuttles will not be provided. Group Uber rides can be coordinated via our WhatsApp Group the mission trip. Participants will need to arrange their own travel back and forth from the airport. We do request that you send your itinerary to our team so we know when to expect your arrival.
