Dear Friends in Mission,

As this month draws to a close, we are witnessing the unfolding of a new chapter in our history—a chapter marked by answered prayers, new territory, and the Divine orchestration of opening of doors across continents. For the first time ever, Streams of Light International has completed three back-to-back mission trips in Europe, with teams laboring in Liechtenstein, Stuttgart, and Birmingham, UK. These missions mark the beginning of what we believe will be a growing movement.

In Liechtenstein, a dedicated team of around 30 missionaries gathered each day to deliver The Great Controversy personally. Over 2,500 books were given, and 20 individuals requested Bible studies. In Stuttgart, an average of 35 missionaries each day knocked on doors across the city, securing more than 30 Bible studies, including 11 on the first day alone. And in Birmingham, UK, where a deep spiritual hunger was evident from the start, the team reported more than 40 Bible study sign-ups by the second day, and more than 85 by the end of the mission trip. What God has done in just three weeks is an answer to fervent prayer, and we know this is only the beginning.

During these missions, our volunteers recounted powerful Divine appointments that took place while out in the field. One of our volunteers, Tim Elming, shared a powerful testimony that speaks to God’s divine orchestration. While canvassing in the city of Birmingham, UK, he approached an ambulance parked on the side of the road and offered a book to the driver, who initially declined. But moments later, she came after him saying, “The lady in the back wants the book.” He handed her one and continued on—only to be called back again… and again. Eventually, he went to the ambulance and found three women inside—all who wanted a copy of The Great Controversy. One of them opened the book and exclaimed, “Wait a minute—The Great Controversy? I’m an Adventist!” He was able to pray with them right then and there. Before leaving, he made sure the entire ambulance team received books. Stories like these continue to remind us: God is moving, and often in unexpected places.

Because of what we’ve witnessed in Europe, we are actively exploring the hiring of a full-time European director to lead future outreach efforts, coordinate with churches across Western Europe, and train soul-winning teams for the work that lies ahead.

Back in North America, we are preparing for another historic moment: the first-ever student-led mission trip by Streams of Light Training Institute, happening July 6–12 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This outreach will include the distribution of 30,000 outreach packets, each containing The Great Controversy and a health magazine, as well as personal invitations to the Messiah’s Mansion exhibit, which will take place the following week.

What makes this mission in Grand Rapids unique is what happens after the distribution. The students—alongside the partnering churches (Lowell, Grand Rapids Central, Wyoming, Kentwood, and Roger Heights)—will conduct door-to-door follow-up, Bible studies, and outreach visits, continuing the work in the same community for the next several weeks. This complete cycle of evangelism—sowing, cultivating, and reaping—is the kind of integrated, hands-on experience our training institute students are being equipped to carry out.

As the Grand Rapids effort transitions into second semester, the students will launch into a season of intense, hands-on fieldwork:

  • Health evangelism seminars will be held not only in Adventist churches, but in evangelical churches on Sundays, opening new doors and planting seeds of truth.
  • Bible studies will be conducted across the city, in homes and small groups.
  • Students will preach, form small evangelistic groups, and lead outreach-based social media campaigns, targeting their local communities with health and gospel content.
  • All of this is building toward Pentecost 2025, when churches, interests, and community contacts will be invited to a large-scale evangelistic series aimed at gathering the harvest sown over the preceding months.

To support this wave of evangelistic activity, we’ve launched a new weekly prayer initiative:

Revive Us Again: A Call to Prayer

Every Sunday morning from 6:00–9:00 a.m. Eastern, we gather for three hours of focused intercession. We invite every believer hungry for revival to join us as we plead for the Holy Spirit to be poured out in power. With so many doors opening—Europe, evangelistic series, expanded campus outreach, and now the second semester of the Institute—this is not a time to slow down. This is a time to seek God as never before. To join Revive Us Again, click the button below.

And starting June 29 through July 6, we are also calling for a Week of Prayer in preparation for Grand Rapids. Prayer calls for Grand Rapids will begin at 8 a.m. Eastern and are accessible via the button below. Additionally, students and staff will gather for three hours of prayer daily on campus to pray together for God to do a mighty work through those who participate in this mission.

This summer has also taken our teams to camp meetings across the country. Our presence at the Michigan, Indiana, and Gulf States Conference camp meetings has generated more interest from churches desiring to distribute literature and train their members for mission. We’re encouraged to see the growing number of local congregations catching the vision to reach every home in their cities.

As we reflect on all that the Lord is doing, one thing is abundantly clear: God is moving—powerfully and urgently. These mission trips, this training, and the many new doors He is opening could not happen without your prayers, your support, and your willingness to join hands in the final work.

Let’s press together and pray together for the infilling of the Holy Spirit which we have a greater need of than ever before. Let’s then press forward—revived, focused, and filled with holy boldness to share the everlasting gospel.

With hope and urgency,
