Dear Friends in Mission,

As I write this, I’m reflecting on what has already been a full and deeply encouraging month.

At the beginning of July, my family and I joined many members of our team at the General Conference Session in St. Louis. I don’t know about you, but whenever I attend events like these, I’m reminded just how powerfully God is working through His Church. It is a fulfillment of prophecy to see the three angels’ messages going forward with such unity and urgency around the world.

Our time at GC was filled with meaningful conversations at the booth, Spirit-led encounters, and strategic meetings with leaders from regions where we hope to initiate outreach efforts soon. One opportunity in particular is a potential mission trip that our team will lead in Cuba in early December of this year. Through collaboration with the conference and the local churches, who are highly active in mission, we have the potential of distributing 200,000 copies of The Great Controversy in just two weeks. This effort will help kickstart the work of reaching every home in Cuba—a work that the locals will prayerfully continue after the mission concludes. This is a mission trip that will require religious visas for international participants. Please join us in praying for this potential mission trip and the work to be done there in Cuba.

Another new development brings me great joy to share: through our partnership with the Swiss Union Conference, a highly qualified, passionate laborer for the Lord has been identified to serve as our Evangelism Director for Europe. He will help lead the way as we prepare for tentative mission efforts in Italy, Greece, and beyond in 2026. I look forward to introducing him more formally in next month’s letter.

A Word of Appreciation for Church Leadership

Our prayers are with the newly elected General Conference President, Erton Köhler, and his family as they step into this sacred responsibility!

I had the privilege of connecting with Sister Nancy Wilson during the Session and expressing our deep appreciation for the faithful partnership we’ve had with her and Elder Wilson. She warmly shared her gratitude and joy in seeing how God is working through literature evangelism.

To Elder Wilson, we extend a heartfelt thank you for his decades of faithful service to the Church. May God bless him and Nancy in this next chapter of their ministry.

Grand Rapids: A Mission Trip Led by Students

We’re also praising God for what He accomplished through our students and volunteers during the Grand Rapids mission trip. As part of their 10-month training in the Comprehensive Evangelism Course at Streams of Light Training Institute, our students planned and led this outreach themselves—with excellence, humility, and conviction.
With 70 volunteers working together, over 190 Bible study contacts were made, and 25,000 homes were reached with truth-filled literature. It’s thrilling to witness what the Lord can do through young people who are willing to give their all to Him. Their determination and joy are evidence of God’s Spirit working in this new generation of missionaries.

One of the many powerful testimonies from the mission trip to Grand Rapids was shared with me by Johnny Henderson, our VP of Operations. He and Tate, one of our faithful volunteers, were canvassing a rural area when Tate prayed for a meaningful encounter after a difficult day. Not long after, he met a woman who told him she attended a Sabbath-keeping Pentecostal church. This church had once worshipped on Sunday until its leaders discovered the Sabbath truth. The woman invited Tate to visit the following Sabbath, and both Johnny and a fellow volunteer accompanied him.

Our team arrived early to connect with church leadership, and were warmly welcomed by them. The church leadership even offered them time to share with the congregation during the open mic portion of the service. Johnny, Tate, and another volunteer, Noah, shared testimonies from the field, encouraged the church in their commitment to the Sabbath, and introduced the three angels’ messages. Every church member received a copy of The Great Controversy, and the congregation prayed over them and even gave a donation in support of the work. Our team has a desire to continue building this relationship—with hopes of visiting monthly. Johnny will be working to foster a relationship with both the Sabbath-keeping churches, and also Sunday churches, in order to open up opportunities to share health talks, student testimonies, and more on the three angels’ messages. Please keep this vision in prayer as our team at the training institute seeks to share the full light of truth wherever God opens the door.

A Growing Movement

During the GC Session, we had the joy of meeting with many prospective students for the next evangelism course—and what a blessing it was. We spent time answering questions, hearing testimonies, and learning more about their heart for mission. It’s clear that the Lord is calling young people—and young at heart—into the harvest.

To those prayerfully considering this next step: we are praying for you. Whether you join us this coming year or to serve more fully in your local community, we are confident that God is calling laborers at this critical hour. God is looking for fully committed individuals who will lay all on the altar to help finish the work.

Thank you, friends, for continuing to pray for, financially support, and share in the mission of Streams of Light. Together, we are equipping missionaries, reaching the cities, and helping to prepare the way of the Lord. As always, you are invited to our weekly Revive Us Again prayer vigils, taking place on Sunday mornings starting at 6 a.m. Eastern. This is a prayer call dedicated to praying for, and preparing for, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

With deep gratitude, urgency, and hope,

Oleg Lotca
