In The Works

Trades Program + Comprehensive Evangelism Training
The Trades Program equips missionaries with practical, self-supporting skills such as construction, electrical work, plumbing, welding, HVAC, accounting, and more—integrated with training in comprehensive evangelism. This unique blend of industry and evangelism training follows the biblical model of “Christ’s method alone,” combining useful labor with gospel service. By teaching students to become tentmakers who can sustain themselves while sharing the everlasting gospel, the program empowers workers to reach large cities and communities that might otherwise remain untouched. Each skilled worker becomes both a laborer and a missionary, who are committed to placing truth-filled literature in every home—especially in the large cities.

ESL Program + Comprehensive Evangelism Training
The English as a Second Language (ESL) Program prepares international missionaries and bilingual workers to effectively share the gospel across cultural and linguistic barriers. In partnership with the Comprehensive Evangelism curriculum, students gain English proficiency while learning how to reach hearts through literature, health ministry, and personal evangelism. This program opens doors for global mission, empowering workers to reach local and international fields with the Three Angels’ Messages. Every new English speaker becomes a missionary, able to connect cross-culturally and share the Three Angels’ Messages effectively in the large cities.

10-Month Comprehensive Evangelism Course
The 10-month Comprehensive Evangelism Course is the heart of Streams of Light Training Institute, offering intensive, hands-on missionary preparation. Students spend 10 months immersed in personal, public, health, digital, literature and cross-cultural evangelism, while also conducting literature distribution, leading church outreach, and organizing mission trips. This full-immersion experience transforms participants into leaders who can train others, organize outreach programs, and inspire revival in local churches. Every graduate leaves not only with knowledge but with a burden to finish the work—each one becoming a catalyst for multiplying missionaries, spreading The Great Controversy, and advancing the Three Angels’ Messages with power as they work to reach the large cities through comprehensive evangelism.

Light Squads
Light Squads are organized teams of missionaries and church members who work together to systematically reach communities through literature distribution, prayer, and Bible studies. Light Houses serve as local mission centers—churches committed to ongoing neighborhood outreach—while Angel Squads are networks of missionaries whose full-time focus is door-to-door literature distribution. Together, these three structures create a multiplying cycle of evangelism: prayer, action, and support. Through them, churches across North America and beyond are becoming mobilized for mission—placing The Great Controversy and other truth-filled materials into homes while fostering revival and discipleship among their members.

Mission Trips
Streams of Light International hosts large-scale mission trips in large cities around the world—mobilizing hundreds of volunteers to unite in prayer, literature distribution, and personal evangelism. Whether in the major cities of North America or across Europe and the Caribbean, each mission trip is an opportunity for God to work both in and through His church. Cities like Atlanta, Santiago de Cuba, and Stuttgart are being blanketed with The Great Controversy, health magazines, and invitations to Bible studies. Beyond numbers, these missions transform local congregations and individual participants. These missions effectively recruit churches and volunteers from across North America and beyond to embrace the vision of one book in every home.

BASS Campus for Adventist Events
The BASS Campus in Mississippi, formerly BASS Memorial Academy, is being transformed into a vibrant training and event hub for the Adventist community. This campus will host evangelism courses, literature distribution training, camp meetings, a yearly Bible conference, and youth programs—all centered on the Three Angels’ Messages. By offering a self-sustaining space for spiritual and practical training, the campus becomes a strategic base for preparing missionary-minded tradespeople, evangelists, and educators. Every event hosted here helps amplify the mission of Streams of Light International, uniting believers in purpose and equipping them to take truth-filled literature and the everlasting gospel to their communities.

Prayer Initiatives
Prayer is the foundation of every success in Streams of Light International’s ministry. Through weekly Thursday Prayer Calls, Sunday “Revive Us Again” prayer vigils, mission trip Weeks of Prayer, and around-the-clock prayer chains during outreach events, the ministry ensures that every book distributed and every contact made is bathed in intercession. These initiatives are not optional accessories—they are the lifeline that we depend on. As volunteers, donors, and churches unite in prayer, the Holy Spirit opens doors, prepares hearts, and gives boldness to those sharing the Three Angels’ Messages. Prayer is the invisible engine propelling the mission forward and helping us reach homes and hearts.

Local Church Training and Outreach
Local Church Training is where the vision becomes reality at the grassroots level. Through in-person workshops, church and conference-wide impact days, and personal mentorship, Streams of Light equips English and Spanish-speaking congregations to take ownership of evangelism in their communities. Members learn how to pray with neighbors, offer Bible studies, and distribute literature effectively—turning passive members into active missionaries. These trainings ignite revival within the churches themselves, engaging members with the final mission: to reach every home with The Great Controversy and lead souls to Christ through the power of the everlasting gospel.

Publishing Projects
At the core of Streams of Light International’s mission is sharing through the printed page. Through a growing range of publishing initiatives—new health magazine editions, the Mission Onward daily devotional, and a soon-to-be-released luxury edition of The Great Controversy—the ministry is multiplying ways to reach every home with messages of truth and hope. Each publication serves a unique purpose: health magazines serve as the right arm of the gospel, opening doors through practical, Christ-centered wellness; the daily devotional nurtures spiritual revival and daily commitment among Adventists; and the beautifully crafted editions of The Great Controversy will appeal to new audiences. Together, these publishing projects help sustain the heartbeat of the movement—to reach minds, prepare hearts, and spread the Three Angels’ Messages through every avenue possible. Every page printed brings us one step closer to fulfilling the vision of placing a book in every home across North America and beyond.

Volunteer & Scholarship Opportunities
Through the Missionary Scholarship Program, Streams of Light International is helping to open doors for a new generation of self-supporting missionaries to be trained and equipped to reach the large cities. Individuals who dedicate their time to on-campus volunteer work can receive tuition credit toward the Comprehensive Evangelism Course at Streams of Light Training Institute, making missionary education accessible to all who are called. This program turns willing hands into full-time laborers for Christ. Each scholarship prepares consecrated workers who will take The Great Controversy to every home in the communities they are called to serve in. By supporting Streams of Light Training Institute, donors become active partners in fulfilling the prophetic mission of preparing the world for Christ’s soon return.

Expansion in Europe
The vision to place The Great Controversy in every home is now crossing oceans. In 2025, Streams of Light International began expanding its outreach model to Europe—starting with mission trips to Liechtenstein, Stuttgart, and Birmingham, and a continental goal of printing and distributing one million copies of The Great Controversy in French and German. These efforts unite local conferences, churches, and lay members under a single mission: to share the Three Angels’ Messages through the printed page. Every book placed is a seed of truth, and every missionary sent is a living testimony of God’s power to reach the nations. As this work grows across Europe, Streams of Light is building bridges for ongoing collaboration, ensuring that the light once kindled in North America now burns brightly across Europe.

University Chapters
Streams of Light International’s University Chapters are igniting a mission movement on Adventist college campuses. At schools like Andrews University and Southern Adventist University, student-led teams partner with local churches to systematically place The Great Controversy in every home within their surrounding communities. These chapters not only train young people in literature evangelism, prayer ministry, and public outreach, but also anchor them in the lifelong calling of sharing the Three Angels’ Messages. By combining the energy and creativity of youth with the structure and mentorship of the local church, SOLI University Chapters are raising up a generation of leaders in literature evangelism. Through these vibrant student movements, the vision of a book in every home is being advanced one campus, one city, and one home at a time.
