Chehalis, Washington | October 9–11, 2026

A recent weekend outreach in Chehalis, Washington, brought volunteers from across the Northwest together to join Streams of Light International and the Chehalis Seventh-day Adventist Church in distributing 3,000 copies of The Great Controversy. The outreach helped the local church connect with nearly 20 individuals interested in Bible studies.

Throughout the three-day mission, participants spent time in prayer, devotional study, training, and door-to-door outreach. The experience strengthened the local church’s commitment to reaching their community.

Zion Hickman, a participant from northern Idaho, shared of several divine appointment experiences. While distributing literature in downtown Chehalis, his group gained access to a five-story apartment building just as someone was exiting through a locked entrance. Because of this timely encounter, they were able to deliver “packets of hope” to every apartment inside the building.

During another visit, Zion recounted how a woman responded with surprise when offered a magazine addressing anxiety and stress. “How did you know I was anxious?” she asked. This interaction led to an opportunity for volunteers to pray with her.

These experiences were just a few of the ways God worked throughout the weekend, encouraging both the volunteers and the local church.

“It really just brought the church together in prayer and mission,” shared Stephen Gutierrez, Mission Trip Coordinator for Streams of Light International.

Special thanks to Pastor Jerremy Foss and the Chehalis Seventh-day Adventist Church for their warm hospitality, faithful participation, and partnership in sharing the Three Angels’ Messages with their community. We praise God for the lives touched and the seeds of truth planted throughout this mission!
