Dear Streams of Light Family,

Grace and peace to you in this beautiful season.

As we move through the holidays—a time often filled with reflection, generosity, and longing—I write to you with a heart full of gratitude and hope. Your prayers, service, and faithfulness continue to be a living testimony that God is still moving through willing hearts. Because of you, light is being carried into homes, neighborhoods, and lives that are longing for hope.

We are living in solemn yet joyful times. The signs around us remind us that Jesus is soon to come, and at the same time, His love compels us to work while it is day. The privilege of serving Christ in this hour is not a burden, it is a joy. To walk with Him, labor for Him, and reflect His character to others is one of heaven’s greatest gifts.

During this season, I want to gently encourage each of us to anchor ourselves in three simple-but-powerful practices:

First, make space for regular personal communion with God. Amid the noise and busyness of life, Christ invites us to “come apart and rest awhile.” Time alone with God—through prayer, reflection, and quiet listening—keeps our hearts tender and our lamps filled with oil.

Second, commit to consistent Bible study. God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. As prophecy unfolds and truth is tested, Scripture grounds us, strengthens our faith, and deepens our love for Christ. Let us be a people who do not merely read the Word, but live it.

Third, I invite you to prayerfully consider joining a Light Squad. Light Squads are small, mission-focused families—ordinary believers united by a shared burden to spread the everlasting love of Jesus. Together, we pray, study, serve, and carry the light into our communities in practical and compassionate ways. No one walks alone; we labor side by side as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Whether you are already serving, exploring where God may be leading you next, or simply seeking deeper fellowship, know this: you are part of this family. Streams of Light exists because God has called a people to shine—not in our own strength, but by His Spirit.

Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for loving, praying, giving, and going. May this holiday season renew your joy, strengthen your hope, and remind you that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Your Brother in Christ,

Andre C. Waller
