Are you passionate about teaching English and serving Christ? Streams of Light International is seeking a Volunteer English Teacher to help provide a Christ-centered learning experience for students from around the world. You’ll support classroom instruction, encourage students, assist with program activities and outreach, and help equip missionaries through English education. Applicants should have a growing relationship with Jesus and experience teaching ESL or in another educational setting. Volunteers receive free housing and meals, a small monthly allowance, mentorship, cross-cultural ministry experience, and the opportunity to live and serve within a vibrant, mission-focused Christian community on a beautiful Mississippi campus.

English for Mission Volunteer

Position Summary

The English for Mission (EFM) Volunteer supports the English for Mission Coordinator in providing a Christ-centered English learning experience for students from around the world. This volunteer assists with teaching, student support, program activities, outreach, and other ministry opportunities as needed, helping equip missionaries through English education.

Qualifications

Required

• A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to serve in ministry.

• Experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or other teaching experience.
