Streams of Light International (SOLI) has released the inaugural edition of The Final Call, a new quarterly publication dedicated to equipping and mobilizing Seventh-day Adventist church members for end-time mission.
The publication addresses one of the most persistent challenges facing the Adventist Church: the gap between a harvest that is ripe and a workforce that has yet to be fully mobilized. “Some aren’t sure how to fit mission into their busy everyday life, others don’t know where to begin, and some simply don’t see the importance,” said Anais Anderson, Publishing Coordinator. “With that in mind, The Final Call has been published to help fill the gap.”
Each issue draws on the history of how God has led the Adventist movement, bringing that history into conversation with present-day opportunities for witness and service. Themes will include Adventist heritage, true education, personal revival, and evangelistic mission, all in service of equipping readers to share the Three Angels’ Messages.
Pat Humphrey, Vice President for Administration and Publishing Director, underscored the magazine’s dual purpose: to inspire and to activate. “By exploring our Adventist heritage and highlighting practical opportunities for ministry, The Final Call encourages readers to take an active role in sharing the Three Angels’ Messages through a wide range of evangelistic and educational initiatives.”
Readers may access the inaugural digital edition for free by clicking here. The next issue is slated for release in early October.
“My hope is that this periodical will be the catalyst to help many people fulfill their role in bringing souls to the feet of Jesus,” Anderson said.
Physical copies are being distributed at the SOLI booth at major gatherings including ASI and GYC. Prospective contributors are invited to submit their information at tinyurl.com/ContributeFinalCall.
