Dear Streams of Light family,

Last Sabbath, I had the privilege of joining our SOLTI students in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for a weekend of visitation to the churches they are partnering with. At the Wyoming Church, I met a young lady named Heaven. After the service, she shared her story with me. Earlier this year, she was visited by one of our missionaries during the Grand Rapids mission trip. She received The Great Controversy along with a health magazine, and when offered Bible studies on prophecy, she eagerly signed up.

For the past nine weeks, two of our SOLTI students have been faithfully studying with her. Now, she has made the decision to be baptized and—praise God—she has expressed her desire to become a missionary herself! Heaven is just one of eight precious souls in Grand Rapids who have already chosen baptism as a result of the work begun during the spring mission trip led by our SOLTI students. This is a living testimony that the work is multiplying—not only are people receiving truth-filled literature, but they are stepping into discipleship and mission.

Calgary Mission Trip

We also thank God for what He has done in Calgary, Canada—one of the most secular cities in North America. From September 14–20, between 30-40 missionaries and local church members united in prayer and labor to bring truth and hope to this city. Together, we distributed more than 22,000 “packets of hope”—each one containing The Great Controversy and a health magazine—and gathered nearly 50 new Bible study interests.

While the number of study requests was not as high as in some of our previous missions, every person who accepted literature represents an eternal opportunity. In a place where spiritual interest is often low, even one person choosing Bible studies is a miracle. We rejoice over each seed planted and trust the Lord of the harvest to bring forth fruit in His time.

Upcoming Cuba Mission Trip

Another exciting opportunity is before us: the Cuba mission trip, scheduled for December 8–13, 2025. During this week, missionaries will go door-to-door, personally delivering books and inviting families to attend evangelistic meetings. By God’s grace, we are committed to distributing 200,000 Spanish copies of The Great Controversy across the island.

This project will only be possible because of your prayers and support. We know that many families in Cuba have long prayed for truth-filled literature, and now the doors are wide open. Please continue to intercede with us that the Lord will bless this effort in a mighty way.

Looking Ahead to Atlanta

In April 2026, Streams of Light International will partner with the Georgia-Cumberland Conference, ASI Southern Union, and It Is Written for one of the largest mission trips in our history—Atlanta, April 1–9, 2026. Our goal is to place 100,000 copies of The Great Controversy into the homes of this influential southern city. We believe this mission will be a prophetic call to action, rallying scores of missionaries and church members to take part.

Ongoing Initiatives

As we move forward, God continues to open doors for growth and expansion:

  • Light Squads: Missionaries across North America and beyond are committing to join the Pioneer Light Squads and share at least 50 copies of The Great Controversy each month. This initiative is brand new and I look forward to sharing more about it in the coming months.

  • Mission Trips: Along with Cuba and Atlanta, we are preparing upcoming missions in Spain, Austria, Dallas, Michigan, Mississippi, and more.

  • Training: Our Comprehensive Evangelism Course is well underway at Oak Haven, Michigan, and is soon to be replicated at our Mississippi campus. Students will be trained in personal evangelism, public outreach, health ministry, digital, and other forms of comprehensive evangelism.

  • Practical Industry & Agriculture: At Oak Haven, orchards and vegetable gardens are being planted to give students hands-on agricultural training.

  • Trades School Development: Plans are advancing for vocational training at both Oak Haven and BASS Mississippi campuses in areas such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, farm management, diesel mechanics, home economics, and certified nursing assistant (CNA) training. These trades will equip missionaries to be self-supporting tentmakers as they work to reach the large cities.

  • University Chapters: We are actively organizing SOLI student chapters at major universities across the NAD, creating opportunities for young people to mobilize together in literature evangelism and outreach.

Laborers Needed

With so many projects in motion, we sense both the urgency of the hour and our desperate need for prayer. We also recognize the need for skilled volunteers who are willing to put their hands to the work. We are currently seeking:

  • Construction workers
  • Plumbers and electricians
  • HVAC technicians
  • Welders
  • Farmers and mechanics
  • Business professionals
  • Literature evangelists
  • And others who are ready to serve in practical and spiritual ways.

If the Lord is impressing you to join us, please prayerfully consider stepping forward. This is not simply a work of building campuses or distributing books—it is a work of preparing the world for Christ’s soon return.

On behalf of our team, I want to thank each one of you for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support. We could not do this work without you. Together, we are pressing forward with the conviction that “He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).

By God’s grace, the best is yet to come. Let us keep walking together in faith until the light of the everlasting gospel shines in every home.

Pressing forward in faith,
