This is Streams of Light International’s first-ever mission trip to operate in tandem with a city-wide evangelistic initiative. Help hand-deliver thousands of copies of The Great Controversy and invite thousands to a evangelistic series by General Conference President, Elder Ted Wilson!
Fact: The Golden Gate Bridge is a tragic hotspot for suicides. Every year, dozens of precious souls, overtaken by despair, take the 245-foot plunge. Many don’t survive. San Francisco is in desperate need of the hope that can only be found in Jesus.

Children’s Program
During the mission trip, a designated team will host a special children’s program for kids ages 5 – 11. The program will focus on topics related to The Great Controversy! The kids program takes place every weekday of the mission trip. Discover a mission trip that gets the whole family involved in literature evangelism and sharing the three angels messages!

Options to join for part—or all—of this mission!
- Standard registration: $299 per person, includes plant-based meals, mission trip t-shirt, and local transportation. Discounts for children are listed on the form.
- Mission trip group registration: Groups of 4 adults (with you included) receive a discount and get $20 off for each adult. Plant-based meals, mission trip t-shirt, and local transportation are included. Please reach out to Streams of Light International directly for details on how to register a group. Please note: In order to register as a group, each registrant must sign up on the same form. In the event that a group has three or fewer members, or all members are not signed up on one form, the discount will not be applied.
- Part-Time Participant (5 Days or Less): $175 per adult. For those only able to attend 5 days or less, this option is for you! Must indicate the days you will need meals. Discounts for children are listed on the form.
- Weekend Participant: $100 per adult. Includes meals, local transportation, and the mission trip t-shirt for two days (Sabbath/Sunday).
- Local Participant: Free for members of local churches. Note, this registration option does not include meals or local transportation.

The place we recommend for all of our volunteers to stay for this mission trip is the Comfort Inn & Suites® San Francisco Airport North located at 121 E. Grand Ave., South San Francisco, CA, 94080-4812.
Double King room types are available. We also receive free WIFI. The hotel serves a daily continental breakfast (your registration covers three plant-based meals per day, served at the host church). The extended deadline to register for these accommodations with SOLI’s discounted rate is Friday, August 23rd.
2 Per Room: A room for two people is $99 + tax and parking fees ($6.48 per day). Limit of one car per room.
3+ Per Room: Occupancy of more than two people per room: $109 + tax and parking fees ($6.48 per day). Limit of one car per room.

What is the objective of this mission trip?
Hand-deliver thousands of Great Controversy books! Our goal is to reach as many precious souls in San Francisco, giving them an opportunity to know Christ through the three angels’ messages.
What is the cost for registration?
Early Bird Registration: $249 now through July 4th. Standard Registration: $299 for adults (includes meals). Children ages four and below are free. Children ages 5-12 are $75, ages 13-17 are $100, and anyone 18+ is charged as an adult. If you need help fundraising, download the sample fundraising letter that you can send to your friends, relatives, local church members, or post it on your social media sites.
Local registrants may join for free! Please note, meals not included. If you are a member of our participanting San Francisco churches, please register before August 22nd to join the mission trip.

What will the schedule be like?
Prepare yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually as this is a spiritually, packed intensive program. More info coming soon.

How will meals work?
Three plant-based/vegan meals per day (Thursday Sept. 5 – Sabbath, Sept. 14) for mission trip participants during their stay will be provided by Streams of Light International. Registration on Thursday will include supper before orientation, and the following Sabbath will conclude with dinner.
How will I get to San Francisco?
Participants will cover their travel expenses to and from San Francisco. Plan to fly into the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). From there both the hotel where we will be staying as well as SOLI (to a limited extent) will provide shuttles to transport participants from the airport to the hotel. More information coming soon.
