A Mission Trip Like No Other

Join the mission to reach every home in Lansing, Michigan, “while it is day.” This is Streams of Light International’s first-ever seven-day mission trip in partnership with the Michigan Conference and GYC. The mission: to reach every home in Lansing, Michigan, with the Three Angels’ Messages.

Experience Divine Appointments

In this mission trip, you will have the opportunity to engage in 30+ hours of outreach. That means you will visit over 600 families in just 7 days. Can you imagine how many divine appointments you will have?! Every evening, you will have the opportunity to hear the testimonies of others as they recall their experiences, and you will have the chance to share your own! Will you start praying for your Divine Appointments now?.

Children’s Program

During the mission trip, a designated team will host a special children’s program for kids ages 5 – 11. The program theme is The Great Controversy—kids will learn about the Protestant Reformers, the Waldensians, the Advent movement, and more!

The kids program takes place every weekday of the mission trip starting on Monday. Discover a mission trip that gets the whole family involved in literature evangelism and sharing the three angels messages!

  • Mission trip registration: Early bird of $200 (includes plant-based meals and local transportation) now until February 29th! Standard registration follows at $275 per person.
  • Mission trip group registration: Groups of 4 or more (with you included) receive a discount and get $20 off for each adult. Plant-based meals and local transportation are included.

    *In order to register as a group, each registrant must sign up on the same form. To add another person, click “add group registrant” near the bottom of the form. In the event that a group has three or fewer members, or all members are not signed up on one form, the discount will not be applied.*

Savings on Lodging – Each room is a double queen which can accommodate up to four people. We recommend missionaries share rooms to split costs—and we can connect volunteers to help line up roommates. Once you register you will have access to a WhatsApp group where you will be able to connect to other volunteers.

Important!

Reservations must be made before the group cut-off date of March 24th in order to receive the special group rate.

After March 24th, unsold suites will revert back to the hotel for general sale at the hotels One Best Rate. Reservations made after the above date can still be booked with the group rate, as long as the hotel has rooms available. All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card in order to receive a confirmation. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, the hotels policy states you must give at least 5 days notice to avoid a cancellation fee (equivalent to 1 night’s stay).

What is the objective of this mission trip?

To hand-deliver tens of thousands of Great Controversy books, Thrive magazines, and GLOW tracts. Our goal to give every home in Lansing, Michigan an opportunity to know Christ through the three angels’ messages.

What is the cost for registration?

Early Bird Registration: $200, from now until February 29th! 

After February, standard registration fee is $275 for every standard and local (with meals) adult registrant. Children ages four and below are free. Children ages 5-12 are $75, ages 13-17 are $100, and anyone 18+ is charged as an adult. If you need help fundraising, download the sample fundraising letter that you can send to your friends, relatives, local church members, or post it on your social media sites.

How will meals work?

Three vegan meals per day (Monday – Sabbath) for mission trip participants during their stay will be provided by Streams of Light International. Registration Sunday will include supper before orientation, and the following Sunday will conclude with a breakfast.

How will I get to Lansing?

Participants will cover their travel expenses to and from Lansing. Plan to fly into The Capital Region International Airport (LAN). From there SOLI will provide shuttles to transport participants from the airport to the hotel. More information coming soon.
