One book in every home in Silicon Valley 

Over the next three years, we plan to place one copy of The Great Controversy in every home in Silicon Valley, and we need your help! Please join us from August 30 – to September 4, as we hand-deliver tens of thousands of Great Controversy books throughout the city of San Jose, California. Time is short, Jesus is coming soon, and now, more than ever, The Great Controversy matters. 

What to expect

  • To be challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually.
  • To grow closer to Jesus.
  • Experience transformation. 
  • Make life-long friendships with other missionaries.
  • To engage in practical missionary work. 
  • Amazing divine appointments and experiences as you labor for the salvation of others!

What to bring

  • Water bottle 
  • Backpack for book distribution or a rolling bag
  • Flashlight 
  • Bible 
  • Personal hygiene items (toothpaste, soap, etc.) 
  • Comfortable shoes for walking
  • Sunblock 
  • Modest, comfortable, and cool clothing (summertime)
  • Clothing for rain (just in case)

What is the objective of this mission trip?

To distribute tens of thousands of Great Controversy books, Thrive magazines, and GLOW tracts. This will give many homes in the city of San Jose an opportunity to know Christ through the three angels’ messages.

What is the cost for registration?

The fee is $150 for every adult registrant. Children ages four and below are free. Children ages 5-12 are $50, ages 13-17 are $75, and anyone 18+ is charged as an adult. If you need help fundraising, download the sample fundraising letter that you can send to your friends, relatives, local church members, or post it on your social media sites.

What will the schedule be like?
Prepare yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually as this is a spiritually packed intensive program.

How will meals work?
Three vegan meals per day for mission trip participants during their stay will be provided by Streams of Light International.
How will I get to San Jose?

Participants will cover their travel expenses to and from San Jose. You can fly into the Norman Y Mineta San Jose International Airport.
